Eudora

Eudora is a full-featured email client

Eudora allows you to easily manage your NSIT email account. Using the IMAP protocol, Eudora can check and modify your email from multiple locations without losing important messages.

Eudora has many integrated features

Eudora allows you to customize your working environment, create powerful filters, and easily look up email addresses in the University's directory servers. Additionally, Eudora provides better security than most email clients and is fully compatible with NSIT's mail servers.

Getting started

Launch Eudora in OS X by going to Applications → NSIT Connectivity Package → Eudora. Under OS 9, go to Applications → NSIT Connectivity Package → Eudora Application Folder → Eudora.

Eudora in three quick steps

  1. To check your mail, go to File → Check Mail. When prompted, enter your CNet password.
  2. To view your mailboxes, go to Window → Mailboxes: a window will pop up with a list of your mailboxes. Double-click a mailbox to open it.
  3. To delete a message, highlight it and press the ?delete? button on your keyboard. The first time you delete a message you must specify a trash mailbox by going to Mailbox → Dominant → New. Enter a name (such as Trash) for the mailbox. Empty your trash mailbox by going to Special → Empty Trash; messages are not removed from the server until the trash is emptied.
